Gracias María, Aquí tenéis el vídeo que nos ha enviado María Mejías de 5ºA. En él podéis contemplar numerosos puntos turísticos de interés en nuestra ciudad. Es un buen ejemplo de lo que tenemos que ofrecer a personas que vienen a visitarnos, pero además nos va a ser de mucha utiilidad para orientarnos un poco en el mapa a la hora de hacer nuestra salida al Parlamento de Andalucía. No olvidéis tomar como referencias aquello que ya conocéis para saber hacia dónde tenéis que ir. Disfrutad del vídeo. Ahora que ya hemos entrado un poco en materia, me gustaría que trabajáseis un poco en casa las siguientes cuestiones: 1. Horarios de metro y autobuses para trasladarnos de Mairena del Aljarafe a Sevilla. Nos interesa conocer cuáles son las paradas que nos dejan más próximas al centro histórico de Sevilla. 2. Precios de los billetes de ida y vuelta en metro o autobús para trasladarnos a Sevilla. 3. Necesitaremos un mapa de la ciudad y localizar en el plano los siguientes puntos de interés para nuestra visita: - Palacio de las Dueñas (Lugar de nacimiento de Antonio Machado) - Iglesia de San Marcos - Iglesia de Santa Marina - Palacio de Marqués de la Algaba - Iglesia Omniun Sanctorum - Iglesia de San Gil - Basílica de la Macarena - Murallas de la ciudad - Parlamento de Andalucía ( Hospital de las Cinco Llagas)

Next 30 January, We'll celebrate `Peace Day'.

Here you have a brief explanation about the meaning of this celebration and a 'wonderful song' whose main singer was Louis Armstrong: 'What a wonderful world'

 DENIP: School Day of Non-violence and Peace

1. The "School Day of Non-violence and Peace" (DENIP), founded in 1964 is also known as World or International Day of Non-violence and Peace.
It  is a , free and voluntary initiative of Non-violent and Pacifying Education, which is now practised in schools all over the world.

2. It advocates a permanent education in and for harmony, tolerance, solidarity, respect for human rights, non-violence and peace.

3. It is observed on January 30 every year, on the anniversary of the death of Mahatma Gandhi. In countries with a Southern Hemisphere school calendar, it can be observed on March 30.

4. Its basic message is: "Universal Love, Non-violence and Peace. Universal Love is better than egoism, Non-violence is better than violence, amd Peace is better than war".
